LOTS of work and some play too!

We always seem to be busy around our house. Even without the older 2 K-kids this week (they are at Nana and Papa's house) we had lots of things going on. I am missing my older 2 helpers, but I am glad they are getting in some quality time with their grandparents.

K-sis is enjoying her chance to be the big kid and loves that we are doing only girl things this week. :) Lets just say anything pink and princess is the happening thing this week!
Daddy and K-sis working on a "suprise" in the backyard. More pictures to come next week after the big kids get to see the suprise.

A FEW pictures just in case you thought I wouldn't have any "trouble" this week with only 2 kids around.

Trouble organizing the shoe closet.

Trouble helping with the computer.

Trouble climbing our baby gate.

Trouble in the tub!

Trouble coming down the stairs.

We had LOTS of work to do...

Enjoying a bx of Fleet Farm popcorn during our van wash.

K-sis likes to help fold and put laundry away (even if it doesn't end up folded by the timeshe reaches her destination.)

Even a dancer/gymnist/princess has to eat sometime.

Letter K made with playdough.

K-sis and I made home-made glittery princess playdough and she got to pick all the colors.

K-baby playing with playdough and the containers. She loves to play with playdough and hasn't ate any yet.

Special K-sis notebook for school. We worked on numbers, the letters in her name, phone number, and address. Anything that she completed this week we put in a special three ring binder so she can keep looking through it

Horse riding lessons

The kids were wild with excitement when Nana Yvette announced that K-man and K-girl were going to get horse riding lessons as part of their birthday present. We have a wonderful indoor arena and horse facility 5 minutes from our house called Red Horse Ranch. They have all sorts of horse events year round and many of them are free to attend (K-girl thinks this is heaven for sure!). We were so lucky, they had WONDERFUL teachers (and horses) who were great with the kids. The kids can't wait to go back again.

My little cowpokes!

K-sis enjoyed hanging out on the side lines, but mentioned that maybe next time she might try riding a horse. :)

K-man doing an "around the world" on his horse. They were working on balance and reining this time so they had the kids turn all the way around in the saddle.

Is it Christmas again???

Nope, just another birthday party at the Papon house! Shawn's parents arrived on Sunday evening and were able to stay and play until Thursday. They came with a big load of gifts for this kids.

Last week we had at least two feet of snow on the ground and were wondering if spring would ever arrive. Our temperatures have finally warmed up and almost all of our snow was melted by the time Shawn's parents arrived. I'm sure they were glad because they had been enjoying some warm temperatures at home.

Here are some picturs of the Papon's visit in no particular order.

K girls all snuggling with papa on the couch.

K-girl and K-man looking at their birthday cake. They each picked out a few toys to add. K-man added the tractor and K-girl picked out the horses.

K-baby in the new dolly bed.

All the k-kids getting ready for the present extravaganza!

K-girl showing off her cart wheel at gymnastics class.

We gained a new student this week for our homeschool. Papa was super helpful when it came around to science class.

K-man's new tractor quilt. Nana Yvette pieced the top and Nana Kristi Quilted the layers. He was excited to have a new quilt that both of his nanas helped to create.

Donuts for breakfast.

K-girl sporting all the gear a cowgirl could ever need. I think we already have Halloween covered for this year.
