We were busy this March with three different friend birthday parties!
Kolsen didn't want anything organized for his party, he just wanted to play with his friends so they played basketball and had a snowball fight. The weather was pretty warm despite all the snow in the background.
He chose to have a German chocolate cake so we did half with German chocolate and half plain chocolate incase some of his friends didn't like coconut, but I was amazed at how many did. I didn't manage to get a picture of the cake because we were having way too much fun. We also served Papa Murphy's pizza and caffeinated soda which was a hit!
I can't believe he is already 11 years old!

Sometimes when you have a birthday really near your siblings' birthday you get to share gifts. I'm thankful that my kids don't mind sharing! They love this graphic Bible and it gets used every single day!
Karolyn's first birthday party cake for the week.
Karolyn was supposed to have a big party on the Saturday before her b-day, so of course her sister got sick the night before and we had to postpone. She ended up doing a party with our neighborhood kids on one day and another for our homeschool friends who are in her book club a different day during school.

We also made glitter fridge magnets, dragonflies, hair barrettes and name banners.
There was a lot of sprinkles at this party! Each girl got to decorate their own cupcake.
Nine years old! Where do the time go?
